Joe Biden’s International Crisis Guarantee
by Heywood U. Reedmore -- October 29, 2008 at 2:24 pm | In 2008 Election | 1 CommentIt’s been over a week since Joe Biden guaranteed us that if we elect Barack Obama our nation would be tested with an international crisis and while Governor Palin took a stab at trying to deduce what Joe meant, the Dem VP candidate himself has yet to offer any specific scenarios. You’d think he’d know them if he was going to offer guarantees. Again, here’s what he said:
Taking a look at this news report which says Iran could have enough material to build a nuclear bomb by Spring or Summer 2009 (6 months into a hypothetical Obama presidency), that has to be our leading candidate. According to the report, French President Nicholas Sarkozy is concerned that Obama would “arrogantly” break with European allies to pursue direct talks with Iran without preconditions (Sarkozy denies the report).
Iran with a nuke and a President Obama breaking with our allies to negotiate with them. Perhaps, in this case, the not knowing isn’t the worst part.

[...] It could just be a coincidence, but this “unprecedented” act could also indicate that even Somalian pirates have decided to test the resolve of our new President. Thanks for the warning, Joe. [...]
