Even the NY Times’s Public Editor Can’t Get It Right

Clark Hoyt, the Public Editor at the NY Times wrote in defense of his paper’s coverage of Sarah Palin. Ironically, while defending how accurate they’ve been, he printed a falsehood himself. Hoyt wrote: Palin “never made a decision as commander in chief of the Alaska National Guard.”

Hoyt doesn’t cite any source for this, he just claims it as an established fact. Common sense alone should be enough to disregard this claim. But if it’s not, watch Greta’s interview with the Major General of the Alaska National Guard.
