Reagan’s 1964 Convention Speech Revisited

As we listen to the parade of Democrats advocate for more government programs and the need for individuals to hand over control of their lives to bureaucrats in Washington, it might behoove us revisit Reagan’s message against the advance of Socialism and ask ourselves if we really want to go down that road again.
The failures of the Bush administration were the failures of big government Republicanism — a betrayal of the Reagan Revolution. When the Republicans take the stage next week in Minneapolis, it will serve them to keep that in mind.
