Most Presumptuous Congress Ever

Nancy Pelosi & Co. have no plans to pass legislation addressing the energy crisis this year. Why not? Because they’re expecting to pick up seats as well as the Presidency in the upcoming election and therefore presume they won’t have to compromise on the issue. Speaker Pelosi is even so cynical as to suggest to her colleagues to fake support for drilling to help win themselves votes while she assumes the role of bad guy.

If the Democrats are this arrogant and dismissing of the American people now — in expectation of unchecked power — imagine how tyrannical they’ll be if they actually get it. Now that the cat is out of the bag, the American electorate has no excuse. If we send them back to office with the majority they covet, we’ll have nobody to blame but ourselves.
