Embarassing Example of Media Praise for Obama

This example comes courtesy of the New Yorker’s Hendrik Hertzberg, writing about Obama’s recent foreign tour:

With a spring of his toes, he put the ball up. When it came down, swish. It was the three-point shot heard round the world…

That’s right. He compared the significance of a made basket to the Revolutionary War. What do you expect from a guy who juxtaposes heartland Americans with “brainland” Americans and still can’t get over the fact that Al Gore was unable to steal the 2000 election from the guy with the most votes.
