Better Audio Tapes Than Suicide Bombers

Barack Obama bewails the fact that Osama Bin Laden is “still sending out audio tapes.”  He points to it as a failing of the Bush administration’s (and by extension John McCain’s) strategy to protect us from terrorists.  It’s worth reminding the senator that before we adopted an offensive strategy, Bin Laden was sending us a lot worse than audio tapes.

  1. [...] For the second time in two days, Senator Obama is complaining about Osama Bin Laden’s recording career.  Here are the results of their policy. Osama bin Laden and his top leadership – the people who murdered 3000 Americans – have a safe-haven in northwest Pakistan, where they operate with such freedom of action that they can still put out hate-filled audiotapes to the outside world. That’s the result of the Bush-McCain approach to the war on terrorism. [...]

  2. And he is still sending us a lot worse than audiotapes. Unfortunately for us, now he doesn’t have to go as far as far to make his deliveries. Until he is caught, you have no idea what he is doing or planning.

He wasn’t flying the planes on 9/11 either… and yet it still got done. Through his planning. While he hid in a cave somewhere. And what is he free to do now since Bush has not stopped him? Plan. AND make audiotapes. While hiding in a cave in Pakistan.

    Heckofajob, Bushie.

  3. You should ask Obama why he’s not making those agruments instead of his lame focus on audio tapes.
