Black Five Erroneously Applies Murtha Doctrine

by Heywood U. Reedmore -- June 20, 2006 at 5:08 pm | In No, Seriously |

While Black Five’s “The Zarqawi Operation: Murtha Style” is an in-depth analysis of the Murtha Doctrine at work, it is erroneously applied. Because the Murtha Doctrine was devised in an air-conditioned television studio, and because Mr. Murtha was sitting on his rotund backside, the Murtha Doctrine is, according to the rules of the Murtha Doctrine, nothing more than a “political statement.” It is not a plan. Therefore, trying to analyze it from an operational standpoint will only lead to false conclusions. We here at Spolitics.com applaud Black Five for tackling the complex Murtha Doctrine, however in this instance they are ultimately incorrect. We recommend that they re-deploy their air conditioners and write their posts from Okinawa in order to avoid these kinds of mistakes in the future.
