[Hat Tip: Suitably Flip] John Murtha is measuring the windows for curtains in John Boehner’s office. And the Kossaks are predicting their candidate Ned “Mentos” Lamont will beat Joe Lieberman for the Democratic nomination. Ned’s running a campaign to make Joe promise not to run as an independent after he loses – this, despite the fact Lieberman still holds a sizeable lead in all the polls. One might say, the Left is a bit “out in front of the election cycle.”
In a related story, the House Democratic Caucus announced they all pitched in and bought a lottery ticket together and they feel really good about their chances. James Clyburn issued a statement detailing what they’re going to do with the money they’re all sure they’re going to win.
