An amendment to the Senate’s immigration reform legislation that would have guaranteed illegal aliens could not accumulate credit to qualify for Social Security using false Social Security numbers failed to pass, 49-50. [VOLPAC]

Update: Hot Air has the names of the Republicans who voted to kill the amendment.
