Kerry Attacks Bush With Revamped
Message
By Lefty Paige
PISMO BEACH -- Responding to criticism within his own
party that he does not have a clear, effective message,
Senator Kerry attacked President Bush in a campaign speech
today that unveiled the candidate's newly tuned rhetoric.
"Do you know what the "G" stands for?" Kerry asked his
audience. "Gravely."
"So that gives us a 'W' for 'wrong' and a 'G' for 'gravely,'"
the Senator continued. "Are you still with me? This
President has been gravely wrong on jobs, gravely wrong on
the war in Iraq and gravely wrong about other stuff that's
important to you, too."
When asked by Spolitics for a response to Kerry's speech,
the Bush-Cheney campaign referred all questions to
4th-grader Bobby Troutman who during his lunch break told
us that Bush was rubber and Kerry was glue and whatever
he said would bounce off Bush and stick to Kerry.
But the Kerry campaign fired back stating, "The only thing
bouncing off this President is ten million jobs. Twelve
million jobs that have been bounced overseas. Gravely
bounced overseas."
